Our history

Founded as a training provider in 1999, we identified a lack of appropriate care services for young adults with complex needs. Fast forward 25 years and we’re proud owners of over 50 care homes.

In 2001, we acquired our first five care homes to meet this gap in the care market. Since then, we've continued to grow to ensure that people can get the complex nursing care they need, in a community-based home that's closer to home.

2024

In 2024, we'll be celebrating our 25th anniversary! We're still growing, with new care homes coming soon in Ashton-under-Lyne, Bishop Auckland, Burnley, Cannock, Burnley, Knowsley, Leeds, Telford and South Elmsall.

We've recently partnered with Wagestream to enhance our rewards and benefits package, so colleagues can access a range of financial wellbeing tools including getting their wages early for any overtime worked.

2024 has seen the first year of our regional and national Values Awards, offering over £6000 worth of prizes for colleagues.

In 2023, we brought our much-needed services to more locations across England with the opening of Tees Grange in Stockton-on-Tees, Adswood Lodge in Stockport, Shire Oaks Court in Walsall, Hylton Grange in Sunderland and Woolston House in Warrington.
