My job is to manage the whole home.
I often compare it to being the captain of the ship – I’m responsible for making sure that everything runs smoothly.
My role involves leading the Care and Nursing Teams, driving continuous improvement, overseeing regulatory compliance, and building relationships with local stakeholders to support occupancy in the home.
My favourite thing about working in this role is making the individuals we support smile!
When I do my walk around in the morning, I love having a laugh with people and getting involved in activities.
The role can be challenging at times as we support adults living with complex needs; however, you can always count on it being a journey worth taking.
I would encourage anybody to work at Exemplar Health Care, it’s one of the best companies I’ve worked for.
